What we collect

When you use CheckMole, we may collect your email address (if you submit it through our assessment tool), anonymous usage analytics (pages visited, features used), and device type and browser information for performance optimization.

How we use your data

Email addresses are used to send you your skin assessment results and occasional educational content about skin health. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

Analytics

We use PostHog (EU-hosted) for anonymous product analytics to understand how people use CheckMole and improve the experience. No personal health data is sent to analytics.

Data storage

Your data is stored securely using Supabase with encryption at rest. We retain email addresses until you request deletion.

Your rights

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us. Under GDPR, you have the right to data portability and the right to withdraw consent.

Cookies

CheckMole uses only essential cookies for site functionality and anonymous analytics. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
