CheckMole is an educational screening tool designed to help you learn about skin conditions and assess whether a spot may need professional evaluation. It does not provide medical diagnoses. CheckMole is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
Always consult a qualified dermatologist or healthcare provider for any concerns about your skin. Never delay seeking professional advice because of something you read on CheckMole.
Use of the service
The self-check tools, guides and condition information on CheckMole are free of charge for personal, non-commercial use. The photo app is a paid service. Its price, renewal, cancellation and refund terms are in the next section.
Paid plans: renewal, cancellation and refunds
What you buy
The paid part of CheckMole is a web app that opens in your browser. You photograph a spot and get a plain description of what is visible in the photo with a suggested next step, a dated history of your spots, side-by-side comparison of photos and reminders for the next check. It does not diagnose and does not replace a dermatologist. The self-check tools and guides on the site stay free.
Price and automatic renewal
The weekly and monthly plans are subscriptions. Each starts with a paid introductory period: $4.99 for the first 7 days. After that the plan renews automatically at $9.99 per week (weekly plan) or $24.99 per month (monthly plan) and keeps renewing at that price until you cancel.
The one-time check costs $9.99, gives 48 hours of access and does not renew.
The amount charged today and the renewal price are shown next to the pay button and again on the payment page before you pay. Payments are handled by Stripe. We never see or store your card number.
How to cancel
You can cancel at any time inside the app: open the app and choose “Manage or cancel subscription”. This opens the Stripe customer portal, where you cancel in a few taps. After cancelling you are not charged again. You can also write to support@checkmole.com and we will cancel for you.
14-day refund
If you are not happy with your purchase for any reason, write to support@checkmole.com within 14 days of the payment and we refund it in full, no questions asked. The refund goes back to the payment method you used.
If you are a consumer in the EU or the UK, you also have a legal right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days without giving a reason. The app opens right after payment, and using it does not take this refund away from you. To withdraw, any clear statement is enough, for example an email to support@checkmole.com.

Accuracy of information
We make every effort to ensure the medical information on CheckMole is accurate and up to date, based on peer-reviewed dermatological literature. However, medical knowledge evolves, and we cannot guarantee that all information is current at all times.
Limitation of liability
CheckMole and its operators are not liable for any health outcomes resulting from use of this tool. The self-check assessments provide general guidance only and should not be relied upon for clinical decision-making.
Intellectual property
All content on CheckMole - including text, illustrations, tools, and design - is owned by Eoria Apps and protected by copyright. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without permission.
Changes to terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of CheckMole after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
