सोरायसिस
सोरायसिस एक chronic inflammatory skin condition है जो immune system के misbehavior से होती है। Skin cell turnover हफ़्तों के बजाय दिनों में हो जाता है। सबसे common form plaque psoriasis है — कोहनियों, घुटनों, scalp, और कमर के निचले हिस्से पर silvery-white scales के साथ raised लाल patches।

दाद एक superficial fungal infection है जो dermatophytes से होती है। शरीर पर classic ring-shaped lesion बनाती है: लाल, raised, scaly border और हलका center। भारत में extremely common — humid climate, sweat, और tight clothing से ज़्यादा। पिछले कुछ सालों में भारत में steroid-resistant tinea का outbreak भी बढ़ गया है (अक्सर self-medication से)। Contagious है। Antifungals से इलाज।
