खुजली Sarcoptes scabiei mite से होती है जो skin की ऊपरी layer में burrows बनाती है। तेज़ खुजली खासकर रात को। Long skin contact से फैलती है। Treatment में topical permethrin 5%। पूरे घर के सदस्यों का साथ-साथ इलाज ज़रूरी है। भारत में crowded households में बहुत common।

फॉलिक्युलाइटिस hair follicles की inflammation है जो hairs के चारों तरफ़ लाल bumps या pustules बनाती है। सबसे common कारण bacteria, friction, shaving, और tight clothing। भारत में गर्म-नम climate में बहुत common, और beard area में shaving से।
