स्क्वैमस सेल कार्सिनोमा (SCC) दूसरा सबसे common skin cancer है। यह epidermis की ऊपरी परत की squamous cells से शुरू होता है।
BCC के विपरीत, SCC में metastasis का potential है। लगभग 2-5% cases में यह lymph nodes में फैल जाता है। यह आम तौर पर लाल, हार्ड nodule के रूप में या खुरदुरी, पपड़ीदार surface वाले flat lesion के रूप में दिखता है।
