बोवेन्स डिज़ीज़ squamous cell carcinoma in situ है — epidermis तक सीमित। यह लाल, scaly, well-defined plaque के रूप में आता है, और cream से ठीक नहीं होता। Treatment न हो तो लगभग 3-5% invasive SCC में बदल जाते हैं।

दाद एक superficial fungal infection है जो dermatophytes से होती है। शरीर पर classic ring-shaped lesion बनाती है: लाल, raised, scaly border और हलका center। भारत में extremely common — humid climate, sweat, और tight clothing से ज़्यादा। पिछले कुछ सालों में भारत में steroid-resistant tinea का outbreak भी बढ़ गया है (अक्सर self-medication से)। Contagious है। Antifungals से इलाज।
